This tea is a special one, and with special we mean special in every sense! This is a super limited March 2022 harvest white tea, and if that’s not enough this is the first speciality white tea ever produced in Tanzania. Not special enough? We are the first and only ones to have imported this special tea into the UK. Only 50kg were produced, as only the finest leaves on the estate were harvested under the watchful eye of teamaster mr.Bhatti who’s family have been growing tea for generations.

Expect buttery notes of peach and citrus with a long lasting floral aftertaste. A perfect companion to sip on throughout the day. This tea also works perfectly for a cold brew.

This is from our super limited March 2022 harvest. We are proud to say we are the first in the UK and the EU to offer this very unique Tanzania specialty tea. Baimudan tea is also known as white tea, and is the least processed of all teas. The delicate buds and 2 leaves are picked by hand and then gently dried with minimal oxidation. Expect buttery notes of peach and citrus with a long lasting floral aftertaste. A perfect companion to sip on throughout the day. This tea also works perfectly for a cold brew.

This tea was grown and processed under the supervision of the experienced Teamaster Mr. Bhatti, who has trained in India and is now passing on his experience to African tea producers. They are the only estate in Tanzania to produce specialty teas. Try it as it is, without sugar or milk!

 

Directions: 1.5g of tea per cup. Steep for 3 mins. For an even sweeter, delicate cup, use water that has cooled off a few minutes after boiling.
